1. Who we are and what these terms cover
PerpVault ("the Service", "we") is operated by Dominic Helmel, Salzburg, Austria (see Imprint). These terms govern the use of the website and of any paid tier. By using the Service you accept them; if you do not, do not use the Service.
2. What the Service is — and what it is not
PerpVault is a data product. It collects public on-chain and exchange data about liquidity and strategy vaults on perpetual exchanges and about market-wide derivatives activity, computes standardised figures from that data using a published methodology, and displays them.
3. Non-custodial, no accounts with third parties
The Service never asks for, receives or stores private keys, seed phrases, exchange API keys or wallet connections. Any link to a third-party platform opens that platform's own site; your dealings there are governed by that platform's terms.
4. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old. The Service is not directed at persons in jurisdictions where its use would be unlawful.
5. Free of charge — for now
All content on the Service is currently free of charge. There is no paid tier at present. Should one be introduced, these terms will be updated with prices, renewal and cancellation rules and the statutory right of withdrawal. The daily screen and the individual vault pages will remain free of charge.
6. Sponsorship
Where a sponsor is shown, it is labelled as such. Sponsorship has no influence on which vaults appear or on any figure.
7. Availability and accuracy — "as is"
The Service is provided as is and as available. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely or error-free, that any figure is accurate or complete, or that any decision made using it will be profitable. Data comes from third-party sources that may be delayed, throttled, revised or withdrawn; we publish what we can verify and mark what we cannot. Every daily snapshot is hashed and the hash published so that later changes would be detectable — this shows integrity of the record, not correctness of the data.
8. Risk
Depositing into vaults on perpetual exchanges carries a risk of partial or total loss. By using the Service you confirm that you have read the Risk disclosure.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, and, in the case of slight negligence, only for injury to life, body or health. Liability for slight negligence in respect of other damage — in particular loss of profit, loss of data, or losses from trading or depositing decisions — is excluded. Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim. Mandatory provisions of the Austrian Consumer Protection Act (KSchG) and of the consumer law of your country of residence remain unaffected.
10. Acceptable use
You may use the free pages for personal, non-commercial purposes and may cite figures with attribution and a link. Automated bulk access, scraping, redistribution of the data, resale, or use in a commercial product requires our written permission. You may not attempt to disrupt the Service, circumvent access controls, or misrepresent the source of the data.
11. Intellectual property
The design, code, texts and the compiled datasets are ours. Underlying on-chain and exchange data belongs to no one and can be obtained from its sources by anyone.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms.
13. Governing law and disputes
Austrian law applies, excluding its conflict-of-law rules and the UN Sales Convention. If you are a consumer, the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of habitual residence and the jurisdiction of its courts remain unaffected. We are not obliged and not willing to take part in dispute-resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board.
